Whether we sing, play an instrument or simply listen, music gives us tremendous gifts - it nurtures, enlightens and enriches our souls. Everyone has the potential to be creative and musical and I encourage students to discover their inner self and shape their own unique musical identity. My goal as a teacher is to help each student progress to the best of their ability and to instill a lifelong appreciation of music in the process.
Whether you are a beginner or an advanced player, lessons are designed to develop the piano skills that are suited for the individual. I bring a wealth of experience to the class and enable students to gain a solid understanding in an enjoyable setting.
I like to make my class creative and fun through pedagogical approaches. My students learn through a variety of activities and games on rhythm, composition, improvisation, ensemble playing, theory, technique, and much more.
The ultimate goal for my students is that they become well-rounded pianists with a lifelong appreciation for music.
